View Issue #8007 / Admins can't set how many recently added items are

In the DemoShop on the right top side you see the last three addet items.

This is set in the file "magento/app/code/core/Mage/Checkout/Block/Cart/Sidebar.php" function getRecentItems()

I'd prefere to extend this function so that the admins can say how many recently added items are shown.

I addet one exampleFile and a patchFile.
